The Funny Geico Commercial

I have to say, Geico makes some funny commercials. My favorite commercial though has to be the ‘bad ringtone’ commercial they run. I see it on my cable packages comparison channel constantly. The gecko, while being in nearly every commercial for them, becomes funny for the first time with this one. It’s the commercial with the old guy in the bathroom, who is obviously technologically illiterate and constantly being stupid in other commercials, telling the gecko about the best ringtone in the world, which is a shameless pitch for Geico. The gecko agrees that it really is not that bad of a ringtone, and then the man gets a call, revealing him using probably the worst ringtone in the world. The greatest part of this commercial is that while it’s extremely odd and funny, it also allows the person to GET the ringtone online, which I did as soon as I possibly could. Marketing genius as well as being extremely comedic. I still use the ringtone daily, and while I’m definitely not in the market for car insurance, the ringtone reminds me of my favorite commercial daily.
